About Fisher Wrathall

Fisher Wrathall was formed in 1994 by the amalgamation of Michael Fisher Associates and Hodgson Wrathall (although its roots can be traced back to 1971, when the firm of Hodgson Wrathall was first established by Cedric Wrathall at 17 Princes Crescent in Bare and the Pye Wilson partnership was created by Michael Fisher and others).

Fisher Wrathall has occupied its Lancaster office at The Old Warehouse, Castle Hill for 10 years. As the name suggests, this building is a 15th / 16th Century warehouse close to Lancaster Castle. On the two upper floors, it houses both the Commercial Department and the Planning Consultancy Department, while the ground floor is occupied by the Estate Agency Department serving Lancaster and the surrounding rural areas to the south, east and north of the city.

Meanwhile, Fisher Wrathall continues in its 33rd year at its Morecambe office in Bare. This office houses the Estate Agency covering Morecambe and its surrounding areas, plus the Survey and Valuation Department, operating under the "Allied Surveyors" banner.

In the last 10 years, Fisher Wrathall has expanded by opening The Lettings Bureau at 82 Penny Street, Lancaster. More recently, it has also commenced property auctions at different venues in the region.

After 33 years at 17 Princes Crescent, Bare, the Fisher Wrathall partnership has expanded by acquiring the adjoining 19 Princes Crescent. The main front section of this new office is for their recently created venture of "FISHER WRATHALL - THE Business Sales AGENTS", set up as the only local business sales specialist with a High Street presence.

"The Business Sales Agents" is managed by David Walker (recruited after successful careers in both Banking and Financial Services). It is Fisher Wrathall's intention to become the "first port of call" for those either wishing to sell their existing business or looking to acquire their ideal business. Anyone requiring further information should contact David Walker or one of his team on 01524 832355.

The extra accommodation to the rear of No 19 is to be used to house the Survey and Valuation Department (Allied Surveyors). The latter is a public company of independent surveyors and valuers covering the whole of the UK and carrying out valuations and surveys for mortgage lenders, banks, finance companies, private purchasers and home buyers.

The increased space will also allow the Estate Agency Department to create private interview rooms and enlarged window displays.
